We are looking for a strong web application developer with solid experience in PHP and MySQL and exposure to CMS systems who will be responsible for, among other things: taking complex web designs and building them out into fully functioning dynamic websites, working with front end developers to integrate design into web-based application, customizing open source CMS websites of Joomla, WordPress and other open source platforms. Position Responsibilities:

• Expert in HTML/CSS, PHP and fluent in web application design patterns, including frameworks like CakePHP, Codeigniter, etc.
• Advanced experience with interactive web-based application development technologies (jQuery, AJAX, HTML5, CSS3, Other Javascript UI libraries)
• Perform user interface requirements analysis in collaboration with development team
• You’re a leader who can spearhead work but also capable of being a great team player who can communicate well with your team-mates.
• Develop exciting modules to simplify and enhance the everyday lives of people who use the internet daily for work or play.
• Enhance the technical team with your brilliance in programming, developing web applications and writing algorithms.
• Debug and troubleshoot webwork to improve the functionality of applications, reducing complexity and increasing elegance as far as possible.
• Customizing themes of different technologies including WordPress, Joomla, Magento, Drupal, OpenCart etc.
• You dive into the code and are confident of coding as well as or better than us.

Skills & Qualifications Required

• Bachelor degree in computer science or related discipline.
• Strong experience in object oriented design and development
• Strong experience in PHP, JavaScript, XML, HTML/CSS and AJAX
• Experience in relational database development (MySQL, SQLite)
• Demonstrated ability to accurately estimate effort, prioritize and deliver on commitments
• Preferable if knowledge of web development frameworks: TurboGears, CodeIgniter, Ruby on rails etc.
• Customization of Joomla, WordPress and other Open source CMS using PHP/ MySQL
• Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
• Very attentive to detail with a high degree of creativity
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational and oral/written communication skills
• Self-managed, decisive and results-focused
• Optional and preferred if knowledge of the following: Flash, ActionScript, Flex etc.
• Social App Development - Experience in building social sites or apps (Facebook, etc.)
• Ability to work with team and under pressure to meet the tight deadlines of multiple priorities.
